The Bab Doukkala Grand Mosque stands in Marrakesh, Morocco. It takes its name from the nearby Bab Doukkala, one of the city's western gates. It was built in the 16th century, during the Saadian period. It is also known as the al-Hurra Mosque ("Mosque of the Free One"), a name referring to its founder. The mosque was conceived as a Friday mosque for a neighbourhood that had recently been redeveloped, much like the contemporary Mouassine Mosque to the southeast.

According to the record, the mosque was built in 1586 at the initiative of Lalla Masuda, who is also named in sources as Massa'uda al-Wizkitiya. It served as the Friday mosque of a newly redeveloped quarter of the city.
The mosque formed the central element of a larger religious and charitable complex, which also included a madrasa, a hammam, a library and a fountain.
