Masjid al-Taneem is a historic mosque in the At-Tan'im neighbourhood of western Mecca, in the area of Al-Hil. It is known for standing on the spot where Aisha, wife of the Prophet, entered the state of ihram for umrah during the Farewell Pilgrimage, and is therefore also called Masjid Aisha. Residents of Mecca traditionally enter ihram for umrah here. The mosque lies several kilometres from the Grand Mosque.
