The Aqsab Mosque is a Sunni mosque and mausoleum in Damascus dating to the Ayyubid period. It stands outside the walls of the old city, near the Bab al-Salam gate, in the Sarujiyya area. It is also known as the Al-Sadat Mosque, and its Arabic name is usually rendered as the "Mosque of the Sugarcanes". An inscription above the door of the mausoleum indicates that the tomb is dedicated to the seven Companions of the Prophet Muhammad, referred to as Aqsab al-Sadat. Today the building lies in the Masjid Aqsab neighbourhood, near Al-Malek Faisal Street.
