The exterior and upper interior are faced in Arriyadh limestone, which appears golden when lit at night, while the lower interior is white marble. The building includes separate men's and women's libraries of 325 square metres each. From its first floor, the mosque is linked to al-Hukm Palace by two bridges across as-Safaat Square.
