The Pride of Muslims Mosque, officially the Mosque Named After the Prophet Muhammad, stands in the centre of Shali in the Chechen Republic, Russia. It was built in the 21st century and is described in the sources as the largest mosque in Europe. It can hold up to 30,000 worshippers inside, while the surrounding grounds provide room for about 70,000 more. The mosque is located on Kadyrov Street and is classed under Islamic architecture. It is also known in Russian as Gordost' musul'man and in Chechen as Busalbaniyn dozalla.
