The Lalla Jemaa El-Zehar Mosque stands in Fes el-Jdid, part of the historic city of Fez in Morocco. Sources also call it the Lalla ez-Zhar or al-Zahr Mosque. It is known as well as Jama' el-Hajjar, the "Mosque of Stone", probably a reference to its stone portal entrance. Its name is explained as meaning "Mosque of the Lady of the (Orange Tree's) Flower". The building dates from the Marinid period and is classed within Marinid and wider Islamic architecture.

The mosque was founded or completed in 1357 CE (759 AH) during the reign of the Marinid sultan Abu Inan Faris. The sources do not make clear whether the building was first constructed in that year or only finished then.
